IPL 2023: KKR wins against CSK in Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh’s half-centuries

The 61st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) finding a six-wicket win over CSK.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

Batting first in the CSK vs KKR match, CSK made a total of 144 runs for the loss of six wickets in the first inning of the match. Shivam Dube who played a not-out innings of 48 runs was the top run-scorer for the team in the match. He played 34 deliveries in his innings. Devon Conway was the second most run-scorer for the team with 30 runs in 28 deliveries.

Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine took two wickets each for Kolkata Knight Riders in the match with Vaibhav Arora and Shardul Thakur taking a wicket each. KKR conceded six extras to CSK while bowling in the match.

KKR made 147 runs for the loss of four wickets in 18.3 overs to win the match. Nitish Rana was the highest run-scoring batter from the team in the match with 57* runs in 44 deliveries followed by Rinku Singh with 54 runs in 43 deliveries.

Deepak Chahar took three wickets for CSK in the match. CSK conceded 11 extras to KKR while bowling.

KKR won the match by six wickets.
