The 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded with Chennai Super Kings finding a 77 runs victory over Delhi Capitals in a must-win match for CSK.
CSK had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.
Batting first, CSK made a solid total of 223 runs for the loss of three wickets with Devon Conway making the most 87 runs in 52 deliveries followed by Ruturaj Gaikwad with 79 runs in 50 deliveries.
Khaleel Ahmed, Anrih Nortje and Chetan Sakariya took a wicket each in the match for Delhi Capitals. DC conceded ten extras to CSK in the match.
DC made 146/9 in the second inning of the match with David Warner making the most 86 runs in 58 deliveries followed by Axar Patel with 15 runs from the eight deliveries.
Deepak Chahar took three wickets for CSK in the match with Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana taking two wickets each along with Tushar Deshpande and Ravindra Jadeja taking a wicket each.
CSK won the match by 77 runs.
