Nepal Women Tour of Malaysia: Nepal win the series 3-2

The fifth and series-decider match of the Nepal Women’s tour of Malaysia concluded today with Nepal Women winning the match by 3 wickets and winning the series 3-2.

Nepal Women won the toss and elected to field first in the match played at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi today.

Batting first, Malaysia Women made a total of 109 runs for the loss of five wickets. Wan Julia made the most 47 runs in 60 deliveries for the team in the match followed by Winifred Duraisingam with 24 runs in 25 deliveries.

Kabita Joshi took two wickets for Nepal Women in the match with Ishwori Bist taking a wicket. Nepal Women conceded twelve extras to Malaysia Women while bowling.

Nepal Women made 110 runs for the loss of seven wickets and won the match by three wickets. Sita Rana Magar made the most 34 runs in 37 deliveries for Nepal Women in the match followed by Rubina Chhetry with 23 runs from 30 deliveries. Apsari Begam played 15* in 13 balls.

Ainna Hamizah Hashim took two wickets for Malaysia Women in the match with Mahirah Izzati Ismail, Winifred Duraisingam, Aisya Eleesa and Nur Dania Syuhada taking a wicket each. Malaysia Women conceded eight extras to Nepal Women while bowling.

Nepal Women won the match by three wickets and with the win, Nepal Women won the series 3-2.
