Luxembourg who are hosting Switzerland for a bilateral T20I series consisting of two matches have started the series with a 3-wicket win today.
Switzerland had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.
Batting first, Switzerland made a total of 150 runs for the loss of six wickets in the match. Faheem Nazir made the most 61 runs in 47 deliveries for the team in the match followed by Osama Mahmood with 43 runs in 41 deliveries.
Mohit Dixit and Vikram Vijh took two wickets for Luxembourg in the match with Amit Dhingra taking a wicket in his name. Luxembourg conceded thirteen extras to Switzerland in the match.
Luxembourg made a total of 151 runs in 19.5 overs of the second inning of the match losing seven wickets as the response to the target set by Switzerland to them in the match. Shiv Karan Gill made the most 39 runs in 42 deliveries for Luxembourg in the match followed by Amit Halbhavi with 35 runs in 27 deliveries.
Faheem Nazir took two wickets for Switzerland in the match with Ali Nayyer taking a wicket. Switzerland conceded thirteen extras to Luxembourg while bowing in the match.
Luxembourg won the match by three wickets.
