Brydon Carse made a fine debut for England in the T20I against New Zealand, taking three wickets and helping to restrict New Zealand to 139-9.
The 28-year-old pace bowler took three wickets in his four overs, including the wickets of dangerous opener Finn Allen and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.
Carse’s performance was a major factor in England’s victory, as they chased down the target of 140 with ease in just 14 overs.
Malan top-scored for England with 54, while Brook made 43 not out.
Carse’s performance was a great start to his international career, and he will be hoping to continue in the same manner in the remaining matches of the series.
