Pakistan’s cricketing talent is poised for a grand display as 65 cricketers, including 60 men and 5 women, gear up for the highly anticipated The Hundred 2024 Draft scheduled for March 20.

Early moves have already set the stage abuzz with Manchester Originals retaining Usama Mir and Welsh Fire securing the services of pacer Haris Rauf, marking the beginning of intriguing developments.

The spotlight intensifies as Hasan Ali and Naseem Shah enter the fray with a reserve price of £100,000, instantly capturing attention. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed establish their worth at £75,000, reflecting their prowess on the field.

Mohammad Amir, Saim Ayub, Aamer Jamal, and Abdullah Shafique set their base price at £60,000, while Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Imad Wasim join the mix with a reserve price of £50,000, adding to the competitive landscape.

Notable figures like Mir Hamza, Mohammad Hasnain, and Azam Khan signal their value with a reserve price of £40,000, underscoring the depth of talent.

A significant number of 46 Pakistani players have registered without specifying a reserve price, including Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed, Umar Akmal, and Asif Ali, further enriching the draft pool.

In the women’s category, Iram Javed, Nida Dar, and Fatima Sana command attention with a reserve price of £17,500, while Aliya Riaz and Javeria Rauf opt to join the draft without setting a reserve price.

With a total of 245 domestic players and 389 overseas players vying for selection across both categories, the stage is set for a riveting selection process, ensuring fairness and transparency.
