Sandeep Lamichhane to play T20 World Cup for Nepal in West Indies

Sandeep Lamichhane is going to play T20 World Cup for Nepal.

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have released a press meet stating that Sandeep Lamichhane is going to play in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Sandeep Lamichhane will play the matches in West Indies. Sandeep Lamichhane will not play in the US.

After the US Embassy, Nepal rejected visa for Sandeep Lamichhane to play in the T20 World Cup happening in the US, Nepali cricket was looking if he can participate in T20 World Cup happening in West Indies. Sandeep Lamichhane has reached West Indies for the World Cup. West Indies and the US are the co-hosts of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) mentioned that Sandeep Lamichhane is in the official squad of Nepal since 16 May.

Sandeep Lamichhane have replaced Pratish GC in the squad. Pratish GC has been placed to the travelling reserve of Nepal. Pratish GC is currently in the US.
