The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 schedule is finally revealed as the tournament returs to the cricket calendar in 2025, running from 19 February to 9 March. The action is going to be pretty high-energy in this event because Pakistan, along with the UAE, shares hosting duties for the event. It will be the first global cricket tournament that Pakistan will host games for since 1996, partnering with Dubai for select games as a neutral venue.
The competition pits eight teams against each other in a 15-match, 19-day competition. Teams have been divided into two groups: Group A, consisting of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, and Group B, comprising Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. Teams will be fighting for the coveted white jackets in the Champions Trophy-a competition known to have produced some really electrifying matches.
The competition kicks off on February 19 with hosts Pakistan taking on New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi. For India, the campaign begins a day later against Bangladesh in Dubai. The much-hyped India vs Pakistan encounter on February 23 in Dubai is sure to enthrall millions across the world.
The group stages conclude with India playing New Zealand on 2nd March while Pakistan play their last league match against Bangladesh on 27th February in Rawalpindi.
The semi-finals are on March 4 and March 5, and even there, the schedule is slightly different. India’s semi-final, if they qualify, is slotted for Dubai, while Pakistan’s semi-final, in case they make it thus far, is slated to be held in Lahore. The final is at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9, but that again alters if India reach the final: It moves to Dubai.
The Pakistan matches would be held in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, with Dubai International Stadium being the crown jewel of the UAE. A hybrid hosting model means this tournament is just about the perfect example of collaboration to make sure all stakeholders get their due, yet the world will be able to enjoy the tournament.
