Switzerland’s tour of Estonia ended in a comprehensive 3–0 clean sweep as the visitors dominated the hosts across all departments in Tallinn. Each of the three T20Is at the Estonian National Cricket and Rugby Field brought standout individual performances, clinical execution, and high-scoring thrillers.
1st T20I: Switzerland Crush Estonia by 72 Runs
Switzerland kicked off the series in dominant fashion on August 2, 2025. Opting to bat first, they posted 162/8 in 20 overs. Arjun Vinod (38), Harsha Deshan (36), and Ahmed Hassan (31) provided the base, while late cameos added to the momentum.
Estonia’s chase crumbled early. The top order collapsed to 21/5, with only Bilal Masud showing resistance with a quickfire 42 off 29 balls. But the Swiss bowling trio of Ashwin Vinod (3/10), Aneesh Kumar (3/19), and Faheem Nazir (2/20) was too strong. Estonia were bowled out for 90, handing Switzerland a 72-run win.

On August 3, Switzerland sealed the series 2–0 with a tight 15-run victory. Batting first again, Switzerland scored 157/6. Faheem Nazir led the charge with 50 off 39, supported by Ahmed Hassan’s 49. Estonia’s bowlers, led by Habib Khan (2/27) and Zeeshan Ali (2/25), kept the innings in check.
Estonia responded with aggression. Habib Khan (49 off 25) and Muhammad Usman (43 off 36) powered a 68-run opening stand. However, Switzerland turned the tide with a fiery spell from Ashwin Vinod (4/37), assisted by Aneesh Kumar and Khalid Niazi, both taking two wickets. Estonia folded for 142 in 18.3 overs.

3rd T20I: Deshan’s 76 Powers Switzerland to 3-0 Sweep
In the final game, also held on August 3, Switzerland batted first yet again and posted the highest total of the series – 235/6. Skipper Harsha Deshan starred with 76 off 47 balls, while Ahmed Hassan smashed 59 off 29 and Qateel Zabiullah added 32 off 13.
Estonia’s chase revolved around a brilliant knock from Habib Khan (90 off 43), but his efforts fell short. Estonia ended on 194/9, losing by 41 runs. Switzerland’s Jai Sinh (4/23) and Khalid Niazi (3/31) were outstanding with the ball.
