
The eleventh and the twelfth matches of the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League concluded today favouring Biratnagar Super Kings and Janakpur Royals with two points each.
The first match of the day was between Pokhara Avengers and Biratnagar Super Kings where Biratnagar Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Pokhara Avengers made 135/6 in 20 overs with Ameer Hamza scoring the most runs for the team as he made 37 runs off 25 balls.
Andre McCarthy took three wickets for Biratnagar Super Kings in the game with Nandan Yadav, Raj Nannan and Shahab Alam taking a wicket each.
With Rohit Paudel shining from the Biratnagar Super Kings’ side, the team made 138/2 in 18.4 overs to win the game. Rohit Paudel made 71 not-out runs off 57 balls. Gauranshu Sharma and Hussain Talat made 33(32) and 28*(23) to help the team win.
Ameer Hamza and Zahir Khan took a wicket each for Pokhara Avengers in the game.
Biratnagar Super Kings won the game by 8 wickets.
Rohit Paudel was the Player of the Match for his 71*(57) in batting.
The second match of the day was played between Far West United and Janakpur Royals where Janakpur Royals won the toss and elected to field first.
With Karan KC playing a solid 46 not-out inning off just 17 balls, Far West United added a total of 169 runs losing 6 wickets in the first inning of the game.
Lalit Rajbanshi, Sompak Kami and Jitendra Mukhiya took 2, 1 and 1 wickets respectively in the game.
Janakpur Royals got two half-centuries in the game that helped the team make 171/2 in 18.2 overs to win the game. Chadwick Walton played a not-out inning of 69 runs off 40 balls and Sundeep Jora played a not-out inning of 77 runs off 54 balls to help the team register the win in the game.
Karan KC was the only bowler from Far West United to take wickets in the game. He took two wickets in the game.
Janakpur Royals won the game by 8 wickets.
Sundeep Jora was the Player of the Match for his 77*(54) in the game.
