Nepal T20 League 2022 entered its seventh day today with two matches being completed today as per the fixtures. The first match played today was between Lumbini All Stars and Kathmandu Knights which is also the thirteenth match of the league. The second match played today was between Far West United and Pokhara Avengers which is also the fourteenth match of the league.
In the match between Lumbini All Stars and Kathmandu Knights, Lumbini All Stars won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Lumbini All Stars added a total of 150 runs on the board at the loss of eight wickets, from its 20 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee was the top-run contributor for the team to set the total on the board.
Azmatullah Omarzai took two wickets for Kathmandu Knights in the game while Abinash Bohara, Anil Kharel, Basir Ahamad, Sunam Gautam and Alex Blake took a wicket each.
With the first three batters of the Kathmandu Knights going duck in the game, the team could make only 115 runs in their 20 overs losing eight wickets. Azmatullah Omarzai was the top run contributor for the team with 38 runs off 29 balls.
Harmeet Singh was the top wicket-taker for Lumbini All Stars in the game with 3 wickets in his name. Kishore Mahato, Shadley van Schalkwyk, Tilak Bhandari and Harry Tector took a wicket each in the game for the team.
Lumbini All Stars won the match by 35 runs.
Harmeet Singh was the Player of the Match for his 12(8) in batting and 3/7 in bowling.
In the match between Far West United and Pokhara Avengers played today, Far West United won the toss and elected to bat first.
With Umair Ali contributing Far West United with a powerful gameplay of 42 runs off 26 balls, the team made a total of 187 runs at the loss of nine wickets from the first inning of the game.
Zahir Khan, Ameer Hamza and Tul Thapa took 3, 2 and 2 wickets respectively for the team. Kushal Malla and Aarif Sheikh took a wicket each.
With Aasif Sheikh making 45 runs off 33 balls and Kushal Malla making 40 runs off 22 balls, Pokhara Avengers made 188 runs at the loss of seven wickets to win the game in 19.1 overs of the second inning.
Karan KC, Umair Ali and Prakash Jaishi took two wickets each for Far West United in the game. Bhuvan Karki too a wicket for the team.
Pokhara Avengers won the game by 3 wickets.
Kushal Malla was the Player of the Match for his 40(22) in batting and 1/25 in bowling.
