The Adelaide Strikers have confirmed that Birds of Tokyo, one of Australia’s most iconic rock bands, will headline the New Year’s Eve Bash at Adelaide Oval. The announcement sets the stage for South Australia’s biggest celebration of the year, combining world-class cricket, live music, and fireworks.
Tickets are now available for all Strikers’ home matches, including the blockbuster New Year’s Eve showdown against the Brisbane Heat. Given last year’s sell-out crowd, fans are being urged to secure seats early, with early bird pricing available until November 13.
A Night of Cricket, Music, and Fireworks
Following the on-field action, fans will be treated to a post-match concert by Birds of Tokyo, with the band set to perform chart-topping hits such as Plans, Lanterns, and Silhouettic. The performance will be followed by Adelaide’s iconic fireworks display, ensuring a spectacular start to 2026.
For those who want to extend the celebrations, the New Year’s Eve Post-Match Bash returns on the Lindsay Head Terrace, offering premium views of the city fireworks, entertainment, and light refreshments.
